The HW 50 is an innovative hopper wagon intended to be used in the renewal of the railway tracks, forming a train with a ballast cleaner machine at its head. The function of the wagon is to store the ballast or transfer it to the next module, depending on the work phase. It also allows you to unload the ballast at the side once the renewal work is finished. The HW 50 wagon can be considered innovative because it allows loading and unloading operations to be carried out with maximum flexibility, thanks to its 3 conveyor belts which, appropriately positioned, give the possibility to transfer the ballast in three different ways.
